Summary
Monogramming – You will learn the process of transferring initials or another small personal drawing/design onto fabric.
You will develop the techniques of the stem stitch and satin stitch which are used to embroider a monogram. You can also bring your own personal item, allowing you to utilise your skills in transferring the design.
The aim of this class is to provide an introduction to monogramming and to learn how to apply it to your own item.
This class includes a kit with cotton fabric, calico, needles, prick and pounce powder (to transfer the design).
