Tambour beading is usually used in the Couture dresses seen on the red carpet or on the fashion catwalk. I personally like to use it with other techniques like Goldwork and it is still one of my favourite techniques.

Learn the art of tambour beading with this tambour hook size 70.

Tambour Beading embroidery is used to embellish fabric with beads, sequins or crystals. This technique is carried out on the reverse side of the fabric. The chainstitch can be worked on either side depending on the effect you want to achieve.

Included with the tambour hook size 70 is a practise fabric, practise beads and a Black fil a gant bobbin (au chinois glowing thread).

We recommend using the hook on a hoop or a frame to allow the fabric to be tightened.
